Shopping haul from ZH and HK!

as mentioned, here's the stuff i bot from my trip to ZH and HK! (the only stuff i bot from macau were my fave contact lens which are not available in spore.. and food stuff for my colleagues)

shall just go straight into showing u wat i bot!

these are  my buys, mostly from H&M!

- bras from H&M

- clothes and hairbands also from H&M

- panties from H&M and ZH

- bambi motif pouch from H&M..

bot this pj set from one of the small lanes @ causeway bay.. think abt SGD 10? can't rem.. but i actually wanted this other my melody pj which was cuter.. but dun haf size.. so settled for this one.. gonna cut the pants into shorts tho..

misc stuff i bot frm ZH... elmo socks and other socks, my melody stickers, angry bird stuff, a set of markers which costs only SGD3 (there's like 24 markers!), my melody scissors.. and some combs and mirrors.. and a longchamp-inspired bag..

the socks are dam cheap la.. 3 for RMB 10 (SGD2).. in SG, socks are usually 3 for SGD 10.. haha

and the array of longchamp-inspired and agnes b-inspired bags and pouches we got from ZH.. the agnes b pouches are mostly gifts.. but they're not cheap! SGD 5 each.. after much haggling.. at first was SGD 7 each.. this is considered ex cuz normally can get such pouches for SGD 3-4 dlrs..

beauty stuff!!
- on the left is a eyeliner.. think i paid SGD 10 for this.. but its quite gd...
- then on the top is toe nail fungi treatment.. SGD 11 (dam suay.. bot this then a few stores later they were selling for SGD 8.. mum went to scold the 1st store cuz they refused to cut pr saying its imported n they dun make much.. well, if pple can sell at SGD 8, means u making qte a lot of profit lo!)..
- 2 boxes of my beauty diaries masks... SGD 12 for 2 boxes cuz i caught the buy 1 free 1 promo.. heehee

opi! costs abt SGD 2 per bottle.. i think its fake but who cares la.. haha.. and the nail polish remover at the back also costs SGD 2 per bottle..

elmo socks! think abt SGD 1 or 2 each.. can't rem..

and my iphone 3 cover on the right which i have no use of now.. think i'll sell it.. 

combs from ZH! and mirror~ and the rabbit pouch on the right which i bot for my china tenant who loves rabbit stuff..

 chio clois earrings! SGD 3 per pair.. really love it.. esp the bottom one..

angry birds eraser! sooo cute! i dun even like angry birds tt much but i had to buy this.. SGD 1 for whole set..

 and this "FA" mj tile lighter! so cute!! SGD 2.. i dun even know wat i'm gonna use it for..

 my MUST BUY snack from HK! calbee corn chips in corn flavour.. SG only has the lobster and chili flavour lo.. zzz

uber love this chanel inspired bag cuz its baby pink!! and hard! not filmsy~

gonna keep this for CNY.. think i paid abt SGD 20 for it? i seriously can't rem..



 and this mint polka dot bag is also love! SGD 12 i think..

and bot this bag from a HK street at Central.. from an old lady..tt's why din really bargain w her.. SGD 10.. perfect for travel toiletries etc.. (although i think its suppose to be used as a bag cuz there's a detachable sling)

 this dam kawaii POUCHES! yes! its mini chanel-inspired pouches, not bags! see the remote for size comparison.. mum bot these cuz she tot they were dam cute... dam ex but the original selling price was like SGD 50? we got it at a disc!

and my lovely dusty pink bag! paid SGD 30 for it after bargaining.. initial price was SGD 50+.. one of my best buys i must say.. love soft leather bags! there's 2 diff designs each side... this is the front...

and this is the back! i love it cuz it looks abit like miu miu! haha

and one of my last few purchases were these duffy mini bears! the left is a hp hanging thingy while the right is a magnetic duffy which u can hang on ur bags (as seen in my pics abv.. heez).. SGD 15 each..bot from HK airport..

other than these buys, also bot jurlique powder tt can help keep ur face matte.. jurlique really MUCH cheaper at HK airport lohz.. i think easily $20 cheaper per item! (shu umera too~)

20 to 24th Oct 2011: Macau, Zhu hai and HK Part 3

so we took a ferry frm zhu hai to hk.. took 1h 10 mins and costs arnd sgd 35 for one way..

 

we headed to my cousin's place straight to put our luggage, then went out for our late lunch..

heehee.. me and mum in the MTR... cousin lived somewhere near Fortress Hill..

mum brought me to eat this delish wan ton mee! the wan tons are uber huge and filled with prawns.. yums yums! the stall also sells fish ball noodles.. cldn't finish the noodles cuz they gave a huge portion.. i can't tell u where this is except tt its within walking distance frm the MTR (which is one stop away from the Fortress Hill stop.. can't rem the name omg.. )

After lunch, we (or rather i) went H&M~ heehee

walked passed this Coach store agn.. so chio

 spent like almost 2 hrs in here.. mum so patiently waited for me.. =) actually the clothes were mostly winter clothes alrdy.. but they still had some summer clothes and most of the summer clothes were on sale! managed to buy some clothes here tt were on sale but in SG they were still selling at regular price.. heehee.. happy!

also bot 5 bras lol.. cheap leh.. each only arnd SGD 22? somemore quite gd quality i feel.. but then when i came back SG, saw the same bras and they are slightly cheaper here.. o_O

still, i managed to spend SGD 300 here! dunno how i did that.. haha.. ok la, bot quite a few dresses..


after tt, we went to Causeway Bay to walk walk...

my MUST-DRINK beverage in HK! Mango Juice w jelly from Xu Liu Shan.. i love love love the jelly parts.. heehee.. but not cheap la.. one cup arnd SGD 5 =( i drank this both days i was there..

and we had street food! always see the actors eating the curry fishballs and siew mai in the hk drama so i wanted to eat too! the curry fishballs still ok but i dun really like the fish siew mai.. taste like eating flour only.. haha.. overall not v nice..

and i also had my must eat ji dan zai.. =)

before we ate this, we went to a random stall and went in to sit down.. then we see the menu but din really like.. wanted to leave but mum felt paiseh so she ordered soya bean drink.. the waiter served it to us.. when we were abt to pay for it, the waiter told the cashier wat we ordered.. the cashier went like "huh, soya bean drink only ah".. we found it hilarious and started laughing... haha

anyway, mum wanted to eat traditional hk desserts so we went to this stall which we saw lotsa pple inside.. the plc must be dam popular cuz each person HAD to order one dish or else they will charge u like HKD10 or smtg if u just sit there and share.. so i bo pian ordered one bowl too.. din really felt like eating cuz was having stomache.. but the desserts not bad..

we were sitting beside a grp of singaporean aunties.. knew they were singaporeans cuz of their accent and cuz they were talking english + chinese.. haha.. so distinct la singaporeans...

i wanted to take a pic to show i'm in a hk dessert store but the pics end up not nice and looks like any other eatery.. haha

after this, we went back to my cousin's plc.. and back to free wireless! haha.. was so deprived after 2 nights in zhu hai w/o internet access.. i'm sucha internet addict..

The next day, my cousin, his wife, mum and me went for lunch.. i wanted to try Sweet Dynasty after hearing abt it frm Sis and other bloggers reviews, so they agreed to go there for lunch =)

see the middle pic of the top row? tts like you tiao inside chee chong fun skin! unique but taste not v nice.. haha.. i rather you tiao on its own n chee chong fun w prawns..

desserts! mine was the middle one.. and its vvv good! i love tt it has mango pieces inside and i like the mango ice cream in it~ yums! definitely will order this if i ever go there agn...

after lunch, mum and me went to buy the famous Lord Stow's portugese egg tarts from Excelsior Hotel.. then shopped a bit at Causeway Bay and then headed back to pack our luggage for my flight back to SG and her coach back to Shen Zhen tt nite..

 this is the stairway tt leads us frm my cousins plc to the MTR.. thank goodness there's a lift beside it to go up.. haha.. will faint if hafta climb up this!

Anyway, my cousin suggested tt i take the bus tt goes to the airport cuz its much cheaper than taking a cab.. it was only HKD40!  really save a lot than if i took a cab loh... and it took only an hr to reach the airport.. AND there was free wifi on the bus.. omg.. SG shld sooo adopt this... tourists will definitely love it..

that was the closest i got as far as star encounters went, on this trip..

it was a mad rush at the airport cuz queued quite long.. and i had to buy duffy, buy cosmetics and eat dinner..

somemore my luggage was 5 kg overwt! omg.. nearly had to pay SGD 120 for the excess wt but the lady at the counter was qte nice.. she asked me to take out some stuff.. then i took out abt 1.5-2kg and she let me pass w a 23kg bag.. phew!

but was qte paiseh cuz i was packing my luggage in front of so many pple.. haha.. every one cld see my stuff toy in my luggage.. -_-

end up i din haf time for dinner cuz by the time i reached the gate (which was stupidly at the other terminal and had to take a train there), left 15 mins for boarding and i haven bot cosmetics yet!

rushed to buy it and wanted to pack Macs for dinner but queue was so long! and at tt point i discovered that the disney store inside was bigger than the one outside! kns.. din haf time to shop at the disney store inside =(

yup.. so i ended up eating this for dinner..

dam not nice and ex (SGD 8 - 10 )!

morale of the story is to go to the airport earlier the nxt time i go HK.. need to cater like 1.5hrs to shop at the airport.. hahaha

oh and i think i love flying alone~ some pple find it boring but i love the solitude! can read etc w/o having to entertain anyone.. but its also nice to fly w ur frens and family la.. but sometimes u just wanna be alone.. i'm sucha loner sometimes..

one more thing is tt i think singaporean guys can be quite helpful too! i was struggling w my luggage at the counter and a guy offered to help me.. and then when i tried to take my hand luggage frm the overhead cabinet, another guy helped me balance the wt.. so nice! so different frm my flight to macau which was filled with PRCs and no one offered to help at all..zzz
